The 2026 Landfill season opening day is May 9, 2026 - 7:30am - 4:30. You must obtain a yearly landfill sticker either at the Town office, or at the landfill on the days they are open. We will ask your name, address and the plate number of the vehicle you will be using to go to the landfill. Landfill stickers are $5.00.
As a reminder, the new development phase of the landfill is still a work in progress, so there will be No Trailers allowed at the top of the landfill pile -cars and trucks only. You may bring a trailer for other items that are collected by the Attendants Shed such as: regrigerators, gas grills, stoves, a/c, scrap metal, etc. Please do not bag up any items for the landfill as the Landfill Attendants must inspects all items. As always, we ask that you please be patient with the Attendants as they fill out their required documentation and inspect your items.
